Beautiful writing, Nevena. For most of the years my kids were growing up, I was a single mom, and had to work to have food on the table and buy them clothes, put them through school. I would've loved to be a stay-at-home mom, but it just wasn't possible. Your advice to be sure to do what's best for you, what you can handle mentally and physically - that's the advice I am taken to heart now. Finally doing what I want to do and not what society seems to expect of me.
