I remember him saying something about shares being split and then he bought, and by the time he told me it had already risen quite some again. He was happy, and I sort of already forgot what he had told me.

It's an ongoing joke between him and me: he's been trying to explain all things re the stock market and buying and selling shares to me for over 20 years now, and I keep on forgetting. I know you buy when they're low and sell when they're high and that's as far as my interest in the stock market goes haha
