This is something I have only recently come to term with regarding my parents...

…’s not her fault, and it’s been years since I’ve gotten out of the blame game and victim mentality. She did the best she could with the resources available to her at the time. She had her own unresolved issues and fears. She was so blinded by pain that she often had no room to reach out to her own children.
Why Didn’t Mom Tell Me About That?
