…dn’t touch Dad either by eighty-three — lucky break. Aside from Dad, people die young in my family. My only exposure to dementia was offhanded stories around mingling crowds — whispers of unfounded anger and lashing out. Old people becoming young and childlike again, lost in a matrix in their minds.
