This was an incredibly interesting read, as it gave me insight in the American way. I am Dutch now, but grew up in South Africa to a Dutch mom (immigrated there when she was 8) and a South African father. The SA way of doing is the same as the American way and I was one of the teen pregnancy statistics. My children mainly grew up in the Netherlands, and had a much more open sexual education at home and school than I ever had.
